There is no tracker for how many collectibles are in the game or how many you have, but you can store them indefinitely in various storage containers or display posters and pictures in your Drop Pod or habitat and base elements you may build. Throughout the game you will find lots of collectibles, most commonly posters. You do not need to collect any or all of them to beat the game, but some have sentimental value or are references to games and creatures or funny phrases.
